We offer a twelve week course that focuses on Education Therapy and is open to all members.

Education therapy is for:

1. Men living with the effects of sexual abuse
2. Men who want to explore its impact on life now
3. Men who want to change or master difficult areas of their lives

Education therapy operates:

1. Over 12 weekly sessions of 90 minutes, and is free to participants
2. Using a ‘menu’ of issues, but with a flexible programme to meet group needs
3. For at least six men who feel comfortable about being in a group

Education therapy can work because:

1. Course leaders have experience, of the process, and as survivors
2. Through information, it challenges some of the ideas we have about ourselves
3. We explore the four key issues; betrayal, isolation, identity, and powerlessness

Education therapy asks participants to:

• Develop and work with a group contract
• Seek, or use individual therapy outside the group if needed
• Choose if they want to disclose personal stories. There is no obligation to disclose
